odyssey to enchantment

It is a pleasure to release this book to the public as it is a shadow of mankind’s journey on Planet Earth, as Bonnie once believed. It is now just a part of our experience, as she later learned.

odyssey to enchantment

the story

quietly

her intuition

It was early fall and a chill captured the rainy sheered winds as they blew across the acre backyard. Cat Dubois stared out the window alone and was utterly mesmerized by the battle of weathering burst of leaves, water and muds combining chaotically perfect. She sipped the cognac simply watching the war take place especially within the vehemently intended lightening strikes. Quietly her intuitions told her something was about to happen. Cat took another sip. This was her pastime when the weather’s temperature dropped and the seasons wrestled again.

The more than interesting circumstances that brought Eleanor to visit me one stormy night unfolds in the tale of Cat Dubois’ Odyssey To Enchantment.

A transformer popped outside, from the hacking of swords the thunders displayed while battling each other somewhat violently.

Cat was worried, oh not about the weather, and not about being alone, no… more about a sense that a dynamic experience was going to occur… soon.

Suddenly another Ka-boom occurred and this time she jumped. “Huh!” she had to readjust her eyesight as if there was something odd taking place in her backyard. She adjusted her glance. She moved her head to look between the drops of rain across the back windows. The lights from the bolts lit up the yard so she could see better and there, “yes” in the center of a puddle standing above the water stood a figure.

A women adjusted her umbrella and cane and then began walking towards her back door. She signaled Cat to open the door. She did as signaled. As the door opened and the umbrella had been set down by the door, the woman looked up at Cat and said, “hello” using Old English language, “my name is Eleanor. I’ve waited five hundred years for this day. May I come in please?”

Catherine Dubois story is told by using hateful mannerisms of citizens, within the small Appalachian town called Glory Town. Using the setting of beauty in mountains and the poor attitudes of the town’s citizens, BoJenn writes how the influence of forces of good and evil, effect Cat Dubois. And to add, it effects a couple of others who also witness the harsh behaviors. Furthermore BoJenn, weaves the overcoming of Cat’s self loathing from these mean human intentions in a supernatural fashion: wishing, hoping, praying and by using long suffering patience.

others...

In the end, Cat Dubois’ exit, from the accusers of Glory Town, into a place of happiness, self appreciation, and having self-love, realizes she had the power all along. These horrible characters were in her life to help her grow spiritually. This story was created using an American style of Women’s literature to the Latin’s genre of fiction called Magical Realism. I hope that you will enjoy reading ‘Cat Dubois’ Odyssey To Enchantment.’

Here’s a few little, unknown facts concerning the writing of the book that others have asked me about.

She is truly a part of me that is a part of all people who have searched for answers throughout a lifetime hoping for miracles. Sometimes when the magic stops and life becomes hard, we forget about goodness. Finding the ease that is within life is often hidden. The magic occurs when we are at the point of giving up. It is there we have surrendered. The white flag goes up and the experience of wonders moves within. We then rest in all the movements of love, humor and questionable joys.

They came from everyone’s life. They are all around us. They are the ones we despise, the ones who taunt our lowliness; however, truthfully… they are here to make us grow. Growing is painful as the bones ache from stretching in length and the skin take on stretched wrinkles. So, the same is within our characters. Growing is agony, but well worth the experience.

“A scream was heard that summer day. A four-year-old little Catherine moaned into the mystical wind. She told the wind to find Thomas. Bellowing, into the breeze, her little heart begged, with vigorous might. The current carried her voice. It never ceased, until one day, “I heard it,” and that was when, Eleanor came riding in on the wind.”
